Dawn Ivey has presented me with The Mystery Blogger Award 2019!
Dawn’s blog can be found here:
Thank you, Dawn!! I am truly honored! When I began my blog I wondered if anyone would even read it, and now I have been able to connect with people like you who build my faith and encourage me to keep pursuing Christ. I have been so blessed by your blog, and it means a lot to me to have been given this award by you!! Thank you so much!

Questions asked of me to answer:
- If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be and why? Beth Moore, I have loved her bible studies and I have learned so much from her!
- Do you prefer silver or gold? I wear both equally.
- What is your favorite season and why? Summer! I love flip flops and t-shirts!
- If you could go on national TV to discuss any topic what would it be? I pray I never have to do this, but my passion is encouraging women in the faith, so that’s what I would talk about.
- What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life? If it doesn’t have eternal or Kingdom consequences, it isn’t worth worrying over.

Thanks Crystal for participating! I love your answers! I really like Beth Moore and have read a couple of her books. You never know you may end up on TV so get ready lol! You’re so right, we must look at our lives through the eyes of eternity. This life is preparing us for that anyways.
Didn’t know you wanted to live in Florida. That’s where I live now, for the last three and a half years. It’s always summer here, so you’ll love that! Thanks for being an inspiration to me through your writings.
May God bless you, your family, and your blog! ❤️

Thank you, Dawn! We have been vacationing in the Destin area for 20 years- even before we had kids. We love it there! What part of Florida do you live in? Thank you for being an inspiration to me! I love that we have connected and I know we will continue to encourage each other! Have a happy Easter!! 😊

I, too, appreciate Beth Moore.
I must ask: what’s your current favorite historical fiction or author? I’m looking for a good read. I very much enjoyed The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (as always, the book was so much better than the movie).

Kathy, I hardly ever see the movies lol! I much prefer the books! Right now I have been reading all of Jeff Wheeler’s series, I started with the Kingfountain Series. Martha Hall Kelly has a new one out, The Lost Roses. Haven’t read it yet, but loved her debut novel, Lilac Girls. It’s set in WWII and told from 3 different female view points. Very good! I am going to look up the books you enjoyed right now and add them to my list! 😃 Let me know what you read next! Great chatting with you!
